Date: 2022 To be Announced
Eligibility
The Scooter Safari is open to any motorised step-thru scooter rider, provided you:
Scooter Size: Ideally you will be riding a 50cc scooter capable of doing 50-55kms per hour on the open road. You can however ride any size step-through scooter, although given the purpose of the ride, the smaller the better. We all know the big bikes can make it easy, the idea is to endure some hardship in support of those living with cancer - an 8+hour journey at 50kms per hour on a 50cc scooter in the cold, is worth being sponsored for.
Registration Fee
This covers the costs to run the event; including health and safety, traffic management, morning and afternoon tea, lunch, official Scooter Safari armband & scooter sticker and entry to the evening dinner and prize giving function.
Refunds and transfers
Scooter numbers are capped at 250.

- INDIVIDUAL REGISTRATION $95
An Individual is one scooter, and one rider who will complete the full journey themselves. With this option you will get your own fundraising page via Everydayhero. Please note that you can not connect up with other riders to fundraise as a team as we require one fundraising page for each scooter participating. - TEAM REGISTRATION $95 + $65 per additional team member
A 'team’ consists of one scooter (in total, not per person) and up to five riders who will share the distance between them (swapping rider at each stop as you wish). With this option you will get one fundraising page via Everydayhero to fundraise as a team. Please note that you can not fundraise with others who have an individual registration as we require one fundraising page for each scooter participating. - SUPPORT CREWS
As part of your rider registration you have the added option to include catering and entry to the evening prize giving and dinner for your support crews, family and friends traveling with you on the day. We encourage you to register your support crew at the time of registration as there will only be a very small number of extra tickets available on the day.
